We will be raffling off gift baskets filled with items donated by local vendors and community supporters. Raffle tickets will be available by donation, with all proceeds going toward future community programming.

Stop by the welcome table to purchase tickets and see what is up for grabs.

Seed Swap

4/5/2026

Bring any extra seeds or seedlings you have at home and trade them for something new. Whether you have leftover seed packets from last year or seedlings that outgrew their space, this is a chance to share with fellow gardeners and diversify your garden.

If you do not have anything to trade, you are still welcome to take a few seeds to start your own garden at home.

Inside the hall, local organizations will be on hand to share information about climate change, sustainability, food security, and community building.

This is a great opportunity to learn about resources available in Edmonton, ask questions, and discover ways to get involved. Participating organizations are posted here under the "Resource Fair" category.
We are excited to have confirmed the following organizations as attendees in our Resource Fair:
  • Alberta Capital Airshed
  • Tomorrow Foundation
  • New Grocery Movement
  • Edmonton Public Library
  • Neighbourhood Empowerment Team
  • Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues
  • John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights
  • Packington Bike Club

    More coming soon!

Gardening Workbee

4/5/2026

Weather permitting, we will be outside in the brand-new community garden getting the beds ready for the upcoming growing season. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or have never touched a trowel, there will be a way to help.

Tasks may include laying cardboard, adding compost, shoveling mulch, and preparing planting areas. Gloves and tools will be available, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

At 2pm we will have an opening ceremony outdoors, weather permitting, to honour the land that hosts our garden, its first people and the stories it holds.

More information will be shared here as we confirm details of the ceremony.
