Thank you for your responses! We will be posting the results of the survey in the September Northeast Voice newsletter and on our website at that time.
Looking for some background?
A 2010 community survey revealed a strong desire for a water spray park to be built in York neighbourhood. Since that time, even more young families have moved into our neighbourhood. To provide amenities for them and support future growth in our area, a local committee is overseeing the development of a spay park with additional items and we would like your input. The current plan is for the spray park to be built to celebrate our Community League's 50th Anniversary (in 2017) as a gift to the residents.
Our Summer Green Shack Program has started! Please join our leader Monday - Friday from 10am to 1:30pm. The program is geared towards 6-12 year old but youth on their own or children 5 and younger with a parent attending can participate as well.

You may have recently received the Northeast Voice in the mail. This newsletter services York neighbourhood as well as neighbourhoods north of us. Both Steele Heights and McLeod Community Leagues participate in this publication. By moving to this format we hope to reach you more regularly with all of the items happening in the neighbourhood.
Are you interested in helping with the newsletter? We are currently looking for a Newsletter Editor to oversee our contributions to the paper. Contact the League if interested.
